Praying Through the Proverbs

I’m excited for all of you who have been reading with us through the book of Proverbs. I’ve been praying God would impart His wisdom into each of our lives through this marvelous book.

I’ve been daily writing a blog that was designed to assist the reader in exegeting each of the Proverbs. Without some investigation and research, some of the passages are difficult to understand. It was a time consuming effort and based on the traffic to these Blogs, the response has been light. As such, I’m going to suspend the daily verse-by-verse explanations. Rather I hope to periodically share insights from individual proverbs or passages. George Stahnke has been doing this and his posts have been insightful and helpful. I hope you’ll take time to read them.

Today I’d like to encourage you about praying through the Proverbs. As you read them, you can apply the Scripture by creating a prayer for each of the verses that speak to you. As you do, expect God to fulfill these principles for wise living into your life.

May God continue to speak to us and change our lives through our study.
